Oh peeps i dropped it today in a garage forecourt. Smashed the right mirror mount. Had tears in my eyes. But i have had to bodge things. I had enough thread to screw the reservoir back in its position and shifted things around and fitted a set of Barend mirrors i had lying around but very gutted. I Couldn't even pick it up again some chap had to help me as i hurt my leg trying to grab it. But no other damage that i can see. I will search for the complete mount later on.

Oh no that’s awful - a feeling I expect a good few of us have unfortunately experienced over the years. Hope you get it sorted and your leg recovers soon

Oh Joe, we have all been there. When i got back into biking 2010, I dropped my bandit twice. Tried saving it , but it hurt, and did not stop it going down. Bike easily repaired, we are not.

A bad day Joe but just reflect on the fact that you got away with minimal damage. These are heavy bikes and if/when they catch you off guard they take some holding up.

I imagine we've all been there at least once Joe, I know I have, and I needed help to get it back upright, oh the shame. Metal can always be fixed, pride, not
