Would there be any advantage of using a "Y" link pipe with any of the dual slip ons ? is it a weight loss against standard ?
Apparently not necessary as its only the cans. ( remap needed for the full system) But we will see. Just waiting for the bike to turn up now to put them on
I have a coupon "code" for 5% off from a vendor here in "Merica" for SC Projects cans. If that helps offset shipping costs let me know and I'll happily share it. I bought from this distributor in Texas and they are top shelf good guys and ship fast.
I like the look of the high level oval SC Project ones, also the price against the arrows is very appealing! does anyone have a picture of the Titanium with carbon cap on a speedtriple, be nice to see a good picture of them before parting with my hard earned
My avatar is a titanium with carbon cap and though it is a low mount it gives you a good idea of the look and quality of the SC Project can.
The pipes are on look lots better than originals. Baffles are out and its obviously louder but not excessive. Overall I'm pleased with em.
Does anyone know if on the Oval underseat SC Project Titaniums if they come with the sc project logo etched? in, like I see on the GP70-R? or is it just the sc sticker which seems a bit budget to me.
They look absolutely, completely and utterly brilliant - and contrast with the dark grey and red perfectly
My low can came with stickers. I like that and did not apply them. Helps keep Mr. Plod from going down the "loud pipes rathole".
Pretty much decided on 'SC' twin underseat titanium exhausts. Then go out for a nice spin today, and apart from looks the standard exhaust don't sound to bad
