My apologies if I encroached into someones thread, I wasn't thinking (must be the prospect of owning the Speed Twin). I must be in some kind of midlife crises as I haven't ridden a bike for 23 years (last bike was a Suzuki GSX 1150) but going into to this with open face helmet well and truly fitted. Any one know when the bike will be available to own in the uk?
Hi and welcome back to motorcycling, what a bike to get back on. Not sure when you ordered your bike, I ordered mine about three weeks ago and I'm still waiting on a delivery date. Been told middle of March; so not long to wait now.
At this time of year they can get busy in the workshops and struggle to do the pre-delivery inspection. I had to argue the heck out of my dealership to get them to 'prioritise' my bike when bought. Even then they had it sat in their garage for several days before making a start on it! Gits...
Yep that is always the risk of ordering close to the beginning of March. Mind from all I've read and watched on youtube it will be worth the wait. Wessa
