I found a 1977 T140 750 Bonneville for sale and am thinking about buying it. I may have some questions later.

    Robert.
Great bikes the T140'S. One bit of advice only look it over carefully. You can end up buying someone's else's mess ups. Listen to it. Disregard a little head rattle but crank rattle walk away. And the gearboxes need checking as some people lay them up and gears and cam plate rusts. Usually can tell if it is a real pig to gear change. And most of all welcome to the Family fantastic peeps on here and a mind of help. They virtually built my 77 silver jubilee over the forum and gave me fantastic support through it and other events in my existence.

    Joe.
