Copper head gaskets and sump plug gaskets can be annealed by heating and re-lifed, can aluminum (or aloominum in the USA) be treated the same way?

another method is rub ali. with hard soap and heat till soap turns black , and quench , job done

 

Fairy liquid too when it turns black Ali is about to melt

 

............Also dont forget to put stick your tongue in the blow torch flame to test for the right heat.
