My TWAT  needs a new front tyre :(
The rear is a brand new Michelin Anakee 3
I know nowt about these tyres  but want to match the front with the rear :)
Front is a Anakee 3 as well but it’s fecked :(
Been looking at tinterweb and on here and would appreciate being pointed in the right direction to find one from a trusted reliable source
    Cheers

I did a lot of searching about a year ago for tyres and found these people consitently the cheapest and willing to price match.

Obviously you'll need to add the cost of using a local fitter and you may need to find one willing to take the wheel off for you which will add to the cost so it's probably worth phoning local suppliers for a comparative "ride in - ride out" service.

Personally I would fit a Pilot Road 4 Trail. Softer, stickier tyre more suited to wet roads and 99.9% of UK riding.

Ah .... if we're adding recommendations for the actual tyre type, I'll shove in my usual vote for Avon - in this case the Trailrider. A few months before I sold my Tiger I'd put Distanzias on it and they were excellent. The Trailrider should be an update on the Distanzia.

Thanks for the help everyone :)
Have found one and ordered it :)
Sticking with the panicky 3 because the rear is properly brand new and still has the whiskers from the mould all over it :)
Need a centre stand now

Tyreleader or Oponeo seem to have good prices.

I look at the .ie sites for euro prices but they all seem to have multiple country websites.

Had a set of 3’s put on a previous T800, albeit 3 years ago there was nowt wrong with them.

I think that what tyres feel good on a certain make and model of bike are not necessarily ok on another make of bike.

The lad I bought the bike off swears by them :)
I’ll take the chance as since I started looking I’ve read good and bad about them
Never felt anything untoward when I rode the TWAT:cool:home :)
But it’s finished so I’ve ordered another one of them :)
    Time will tell :confused::p
