I recently installed the Yoshimura Alpha T exhaust on a 2019 street triple rs, but wanted to make absolutely sure it was installed properly. The slip on had to be a little forced into place with the screw, and it is not fully inserted on the factory pipes. There is also very little clearance from the swingarm to the pipe. Pictures below of what I mean. If anyone can let me know if I'm missing anything or if this is how it should be, it would be appreciated, because the installation process is fairly simple.

That looks far too close to the swingarm to me. I’d be wanting 15 to 20 mm minimum.
Can you not rotate the can around to gain more clearance?
I would also have thought you should be able to slip it onto the original pipes further. How far has it gone on? More than the width of the clamp?

If I rotate it it won't line up anymore, I've tried a lot of different positions and this is about the only one that sort of worked. It has more than the width of the clamp on the original pipes, it seems to be sealed and far enough in.

Yes way way to close. Next time you fit the pipe get a sand or emery paper and clean up all that rough muck around your pipe. Also clean the inside of the new pipe with wire wool and just expand it slightly so its freer fitting. Should fit a lot better than that.

Just looking again at the pipe and it must be fairly right as if you got it on further it would be misaligned with the footrest mounting screw. Can you gently bend it out a bit from the swinging arm or perhaps shim that rubber bush down a bike to give more clearance
    Regards
    Joe.

Hey Joe, thanks for the suggestions. I played around with it a little more and I think this is the absolute best I can do with it in terms of positioning. If I take the rubber grommet out, the pipe will have to slide out of the connection with the original pipes even more than it already is. This might make the connection between the two too loose.

No that looks good. Think you have cracked it mate Go out there now and make some noise whilst keeping your eye on it every now and then. But don't go worrying as I am sure you have it perfect now.

I've received some pictures from a user and it seems his fit far more smoothly and securely on a 2018 model. Now I'm led to believe that either they messed the pipe connecting the slip-on and the original pipes together or it may just not be as compatible with the 2019 models. Here are the pictures in question:
