Hi all, first I have a confession to make: I don't actually own a Triumph. In fact I'm a serial Ducati owner. Not only that but I also work on Ducati. There I've said it, but please don't old that against me:smile: Don't get me wrong, I do like Triumph but is just that my whole life I've been faithful to a brand, and I suppose I have a common ground with some of you. Some of you have probably even owned a Ducati in the past (cue usual jokes about AA vans :wink: ) what's interesting thought is that recently I've been working more and more on Triumphs and as a member of a couple of other forums I've decided to join here. I have a couple of specials on the go and I'll probably need some advice on where to get the best parts etc. As you can't beat forum knowledge. Anyway, if you want join me at the bar and help yourself to a virtual drink, I'll pick up the tab :upyeah:
As soon as I figure out how I'll post a couple of pics of a recent special we've done and upcoming projects

Thanks, as it happens today this has turned up. Not a big project, more a case of tidying up few loose ends and fit a larger rear tire, which means playing up with the rear master a bit. Still, always like a challenge :biggrin:

 

Thanks, the new Multi is a fine bit of machinery, overall I'd say reliability has been good but is a major b*llache to work on one. Re the seat I chopped and rebuilt the subrframe using tubular CrMo and a monster seat base as a starting point. The (lady) owner is quite tall and we wanted a more motard-ish position. She travelled all the way to World Ducati Week in Misano in July and she loved it, apart for the fact that Alcantara isn't waterproof

By the way if you need somewhere to store that red and green Desmo (I think) I'm sure I could find a spot in my garage :biggrin:
