Hi all , i am looking at a 69 tiger on US Ebay and the cases are not stamped and the frame has a large flat where the number is stamped.

Is that how they came from the factory.
more concerned with the frame number than the lack of motor numbers
    thanks mark

Hi, 69 frames did have a flat but not seen one that wide, lots of file marks showing. Also TR6 was a block stamp and those look separate stamps, could be a dealer/owner re stamp as actual font is good and many bikes have had a frame replaced over time, if you are not bothered about engine numbers and bike has a title then i see no probs if its cheap and you don't plan to spend any money on it.
