just wondering does anyone else do something like this if a bike has to be trailered home 3 times it get fixed then sold last bike that i sold was a TDM 850 fuel pump, cdi and ignition coil things like punctures don't count if the bike can limp home it doesn't count only if it does on the trailer it's a strike

I can't remember in the last 20 yrs or more when I've had a bike down on me so it's been trailered home.

The only time I’ve been unable to ride my bike home, ever, was when a young tw@t knocked me off my Panigale about 4 years ago now.
This is what it ended up like. I don’t think the supplied toolkit would have helped :p

well when buying cheap bikes there are always thing you over look as well as having NO M.O.T for bikes here in Southern Ireland some bikes can have a few problems with very few having F.S.H not to worried about the things you spot but other thing can be overlooked.i test drove bikes with little to no brakes lights that don't work engines missing or back firing i could keep going on but you get the picture

I have rode them pushed them kicked them but never touch wood left my bike by the side of the road. Now a days always have AA cover. Even got knocked of my bike then rode it bent to the hospital to get my knee cap stitched back in. I feel it now never when I was a scallywag.
    Regards
    Joe.

Thankfully I've never been stranded (touch wood) - closest was when the CX500 stopped charging and I had to ride home with no lights behind the girlies car.

Have to be honest, if it happened three times with the same bike it would be in the nearest skip!

60 days (yes, 60) off the road waiting for Triumph to fix and electrical problem on my 2018 T12, missed all of July and August 2019, not flipping happy. No gesture by Triumph for any inconvenience whatsoever. And for that reason, probably won't get replaced by a Triumph when the time comes, I'm sad to say. You can't reward poor behaviour, the bummer is I love the bike!

This looks like a case for the entire tool collection, and then some!
