Can anybody help with some advice on how to remove the fuel tank sender unit from inside my fuel tank. It appears to be attached to a metal bracket inside the tank but I'm unsure on how its attached. I'm hoping this the cause of my fuel gauge giving an incorrect reading.
Just did this as mine was rusted up. It’s only clipped in. If you look closely at it (or the replacement sender) you can see there’s a tab that clicks into a metal bracket inside the tank. Press / release the tab and slide out of the bracket.
