Hey all. Had a bit of time to muck about with upgrading the face on my 2011 Speed Triple. I've really liked the later front ends since they arrived in the show rooms and always wanted to install on mine. It took a bit of fettling having ordered the wrong facia but with a bit of imagination and a Dremel I managed to get everything to fit. Now just to install on the bike :)

This was a great reference for the job also:

    Hope you like :)

Good swap, what were the parts you needed to buy to do this as I wouldn’t mind swapping on my 2012 R.

I thought the 2011 was the “facelift” model? (Dame Edna’s)

2016 Was just a little more botox after the first face lift. 2018 got a tummy tuck too

Haha. Not heard them called that before. I've called them WALL-E eyes before.
2016s lights are a bit smoother and have that "air intake"

It may actually be a functioning air intake. I thought it was pure aesthetics

It can’t really flow much more air into the airbox as where the headlight bracket bolts to the frame is where the air is fed to the airbox and it’s very restricted due to the casting for the steering stem being in the middle, it’ll help a bit but not much.
Disclaimer. I’ve not seen that area on a 2016 + bike so it may be different but on mine it’s as above.
    Looks good tho.

Hello excuse me, what switchcube left did you use? Did you add a switch? Can your LED lights be lit on their own? Thank you very much
