    Hi there!
According to the owner's handbook of a 2012 you can use semi- or fully synthetic 10W40 motorcycle oil. I suspect your 2009 model will have the same spec for engine oil.
As far as brands go I always use Castrol, car or bike. The one I'm gonna soon use for the Bonnie is Castrol power1 Racing (fully synthetic) which you can get on ebay at a fairly reasonable price.
HOWEVER!!!!!!!!! Check your local Tesco stores with a petrol station!!!!! Every now and again they mess up the price for this oil!!!!!
Last year I bought 4 x 1litre Castrol for the ridiculously low price of £2.50 each!!!!!!!!!! But like I said: It only happens occasionally but it's worth keeping your eyes peeled! :upyeah:
