Hi to all I am putting my lovely Green and Gold T100 that I bought a short while ago up for sale as I’ve found another T100 in White and Tangerine that I like even more! It’s a 2004 790 Carb model with very low mileage at 8600 miles on the clock Long MOT Lots of aftermarket Chrome parts: Headlamp Brackets, Chain Guard, Cam Cover, Clutch actuator lever cover, Steel Chromed Side panels. I have fitted quick seat release bolts and carried out a crankcase breather modification Also fitted an AIS removal kit. I have just carried out a service and changed the Oil, Oil Filter, Air Filter, Plugs and removed the carbs and given them a clean too. There is the original handbook and service book and two sets of keys I am looking for offers around £4500.00
A gorgeous machine, @Rainman! I hope it goes to a good home where it will be cared for as well as you obviously did. Looking forward to seeing photos of the new bike when you get it.
I always think of a 70s Trident T160v when I see that colour scheme - very similar(ish!). I think it's me age!!! Looks better on the Bonnie though ..... not quite so yellow if memory serves!
Well Steve that’s EXACTLY what my thought was when I saw it and I still have the issue of Bike magazine when the Trident and Commando were pitched against each other - it was titled “Giant Test” set against a stormy sky in the background ....
Now that rings a few bells!! What scares me is that I've been buying Bike for over 40 bloody years!! Been buying Motorcycle Sport (and Leisure, as it is now) for even longer! My inner Yorkshireman just fainted as he tried to work out how much that would have cost, plus MCN and Motorcycle - the two weeklies - and various other monthlies over the last 54 years or so of my motorcycling life. I'm not going there. Mate of mine had a 750 Interstate with the Combat engine - yes it did go BANG - and later had a T160v Trident. Rode them both - Interstate tank was wide, Trident seat was hard. Now why do I remember those two facts above all else? Surely there should be other, arguably more important, things to remember about them! I do remember that I liked them both, but that's about it. Bloody saddo!
