1980 Gpz1100 turbo

I think I maybe selling the triumph to finance this new build :s
It's a 1980 gpz frame
Hayabusa front and back end
1985 unitrack lump
It will be a draw threw turbo setup, next on my purchase list is a big block 1360-1438cc with 7.8:1 low comp turbo pistons... Whoop... Boooooosttt

 

Thats going to be a loony build if you go through with it! Have you thought about using forced induction with your current bike?

 

Injection cost a lot more to set up and develop, around £4k
Compared to carb set up around 2k, depending on size of turbo unit used.

 

Be great if you could keep this thread going with updates and perhaps photos of your project, could inspire a few more of us to get the spanners out

 

Spanners should always be out- right next to the hammer

think he is to busy blasting round on his 'new' gpz. He has got himself a gpz1100 A1 (think its an A1). And loving it..
