Tec are bringing out a two into 1 exhaust for the scrambler 1200, it’ll be on sale around the end of July for £180 ish, they say it’s light and sounds well.

Can’t wait to see and hear it. If it’s anything like the quality products they already supply.

If it looks nice I’ll get one, I like the sound of the arrow exhaust but I am not keen on the two big daft cans which I think spoils the look of the bike a little, a nice 2-1,should look better plus it’s not stupid money.

I am guessing it’ll be high level, I think he would have said if it was radically different,I ask for pics to post but he said they don’t put pics out now until it’s been officially released as folks copy there ideas. I bet it’s a fairly basic design as it’s only £180.

George would make a killing if he did a low version. People are queueing up to pay £1300+ for the low Zard

Totally agree. Need to change the heat shield set up. Maybe better in the flesh but from the video , the exhaust end and original shield looks like a ‘ lash up job’. Not to the same standard as other TEC parts for the bike.
Disappointing after such a long wait.☹️

    1. If the Cat is not running at its correct heat temperature will it clog up or affect the running of the engine.
    2. Wonder why they didn't fit the rear heat shield so that the top curve part aligned with the new muffler, instead of having the pointed piece nearly against the muffler.

    3. The OEM rear heat shield mounting does come with top and bottom anti rattle rubbers, he has lost one somewhere, and they aren't hard to replace or find something else to use there to stop any rattle or possibility of the heat shield hitting the muffler.

I have fitted an auto accessory interior rubber plug that fit perfectly over the OEM rubbers, and give a bit more stability to them. No rattle of any kind with these fitted.

It looks like any number of slip-on exhaust could be substituted for a better finish. TEC did the hard part of creating the two into one collector.
