    in motor trade since leaving school in 1976. Served apprenticeship as mechanic and worked as such most of my working life.
    Been running bikes since I was 17, all year round (I know I'm daft).
    Always worked on my own, and friends', bikes. Do a fair bit of electrical work on older bikes from odd repairs to design and manufacture of full harnesses.
    Health problems meant giving up my Goldwing, got to say not disappointed with my America LT
