Hi again Bikerman , I have just got a set of radiator side covers . My problem is the screw holes in the rad are filled in. Would you be able to tell me how long the bolts that hold them on are ? So i can drill them out. I dont want to go to deep . Thanks mate .

Wayne, OK the bolts themselves are 8 ml long, they fit into an 11 ml deep hole, so to be safe I'd go no more than 9 ml at the absolute most

what I noticed on my bike was that the long water pipe that comes from the water pump is being squashed and the corner of the bolt conecting the bar and bend is digging in this pipe as it heads back up towards the expansion reservoir.
What I want to know is your pipe behind that bar at the back of the head or in front of it. It's very tight for the pipe.

Hi Bikerman. Looking for info again on the Thunderbird. I had a coolent leak behind the head. I drained and took of the metal bend from behind the head. Theres a bar behind it that sort of keeps the pipes out of the way.

Unless it's got two wheels an a engine slung in the middle,
    I'm not interested.
