Pure Triumph in Woburn are having a launch evening for the new Bobber and Street Scrambler this Thursday 23rd, doors opening at 7.00pm. A chance to get up close with the new bikes, book test rides and snaffle a few mini sausage rolls. See you there if you're in the area.

    Hey Rich,

me already snaffled a good deal of Frankfurter's (sausage) and coffee at my local Triumph place.
I personally think the local 'small' event was much more entertaining than the big Intro-Invited-Guests-Only-Thing I attended in Frankfurt (city, not sausage) ;)

I still think the Bobber is a fine machine and I am looking forward to seeing it on the road. Especially in green and silver!
Also, I'm glad, I chose the Bonnie: I would look rather ridiculous on the low bike with my knees swaying out on either side...
And I also hope the scrambler will be selling well. She really deserves it. The old Scrambler did not go all to well here in Germany.

So have a great time and ask them to fire up the Bobber! Sound is great - even in standard config.

    Cheers! :)

Looks like figwold and I will be going to Wellingborough instead of Woburn having discovered today there's free beer from the local independent brewery next door. I posted in the Thruxton thread that I'm seriously thinking of the 'R', or a T120 before the summer, but I'm going to test ride a Bobber before committing myself, although like you I worry about looking an [old] tw@t on one. The Service Manager there is thinking of selling his Beemer cafe racer and getting a Scrambler to then personalise.

Man you have to let me know how you decided!
Coming from the Thrux R and having swapped it for the T120!
The market offers some really cool machines these days...

Certainly will do. I'm hoping to test ride on Wednesday if the weather is fine, and will book a ride on the Bobber too. You never know, I might be bring one of those three to Kielder rather than the Tiger as it's only a weekend trip, assuming I do buy that is.
