So with my trip to Spain all booked I'm wondering puncture prevention or puncture repair kit. What have you guys used successfully, the gel that goes in the tyre to seal a puncture, or a repair kit once the tyre has punctured?

Late September, sail on 17th to Bilbao, trundling down to Agres to stay with a mate, hopefully taking in the MotoGP at Aragon then back on the 25th from Santander

I'd take both. If it's dark and wet a quick blast with a can might be preferable. The sludge washes out. If it's fine and sunny you might want to use a repair kit. Either method is a temporary fix and neither takes up much room.

That kit is very similar to the one I carry with me.
Fully gets my vote, I have used it a couple of times on my bike and others. The temporary plug has stayed in for more miles than it should until I change the tyre. As a tip, carry some rubber glue just to help keep the plug in place.
Very easy to use and no mess

I can't offer anything useful regarding puncture kits, but I did a similar trip last Sept. ferry to Santander, down through the Pyrenees, few days at the Aragon GP and then back up to Zaragoza for a couple days before getting the ferry back from Santander to Plymouth. Loved every minute of it.
