Hi all. Not sure if I'm doing this right but I'll give it a go! Returning to motorcycling after a 25+ year break! Mid life crisis sorted. Previous bikes include RD350LC, YPVS350LC and a CBR600F jelly mould + the usual all important AP50, DT50MX and NS125 (my bike for bike licence test and a couple of biking mates that borrowed it to do theirs!!) Think I've got the model numbers correct, it's been a long time! Didn't fancy the head down, ar.... err, bum up style so went the cruiser route. Always promised myself a Harley (vrod) but then saw the light! The usual Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki and Honda dealers don't really do it for me. But walking into a Triumph dealer was a different story. Like a kid in a sweetshop. Love all the retro styling. I'm no Mr Golitely at 6' and 16 stone so wanted a big bike. Had the storm two weeks now and done a grand total of 45 miles, as it's not been ideal weather. Just getting a feel for the beast! Wasn't going to have one this early but couldn't turn down the deal on offer for a new unregistered one with no miles. £13100 inc £2000 worth of accessories or clothing. Had the long Tors (prefer the standard look), remap, double touring seat, sissy bar (not a fan of it on though, but a nice accessory to have) and a Taloc leather jacket. Left about £450 which then came off the bike making it £11100. Always wanted a black one until I saw the red and loved it. Then saw it at the show at the NEC Birmingham and it looked nasty under all the spotlights. A bit pink and orangey. Took a punt though and glad I did. Well chuffed. IMG_5029.JPG IMG_5021.JPG

Welcome to the forum Mr Bojangles and top marks for presenting us with pictures straight off and great pics they
are, well beautiful Tbird and as you say that colour is really catching looks great, plus like myself you have the option of
a single seat or the very comfortable long haul seat,
single seat does look nice together with a rear rack, but two's up or luggage to carry then double seat and
sissy bar is a good option. I love your twin head lights !!

Thanks for the comments. It was the twin headlights that I particularly liked too!

Thanks. Colour was a tricky choice. Under certain lights, it doesn't photograph very well. On the triumph website it looks weird and not representative at all. In the flesh, it's pretty cool! In my opinion of course!

Thanks, yep not sure when the Lava red became available but fairly recently I think. Always fancied the black 'stealthy' look but thought the red broke up the 'all black' look of the Storm.
