Ok fellas.... part 2 of the Devine Comedy.........did a few hours and I think she looks a little better than last time you all saw her. Just the expansion tank to fit and top up with water then connect the battery and hopefully the engine will turn...............
Hi Jennoe. If you're after a Dominatrix seat try these folks, it's a place where I get some bits for my 1960 Norton 99 Slimline. http://www.norvilmotorcycle.co.uk/
Hi Does anyone know where to get those chrome air filters from to fit the oval intake Mikuni Carbs on the Trophy ? Thanks
Morning Booth I got those on the Sprint off Fleabay. They came from China of course but they're just as good as any I've seen here and I had 4 for £12 instead of a tenner each.........not sure if they do the oval ones though............
Evening everyone Bit of a technical question to the multitude..........the petrol tap on my Sprint is well and truly knackered.............looking for a nice, neat replacement...... something simple and unobtrusive. I know the ZR750 tap fits but are there any other options out there.?..........That's your starter for 10 and no conferring...........
I remember somewhere reading a yamaha one fitted, been looking but no success as yet. On the USA site a lot of the guys use pingle taps on triumphs but not sure if you get them over here
Thanks Sprint Dave Had a good look at the single tap..... beautiful piece of engineering at the equivalent price.......Wow they're expensive......£100+.....not found anything about a Yamaha tap but did discover the KTM XC/EXC tap is a fit also. Thanks for the pointer fella, I'll keep looking but I may try and engineer a custom tap. Cheers again. Jennoe
Morning fellas...... today is the day I find out if my "canvas" is worth painting on............New battery charged, water in the radiator, about to put in a new oil filter and lovely fresh oil then press the button and see exactly what happens.................If any of you hear any funny noises coming from the direction of Wales..Chances are it's me..............!!!!!!!!
Best of luck. Bet there'll be a bloody great smile on your face when it fires up. There was on my fugly mug when I got my Dommie to spark up for the first time.
Yes I was admiring the off cuts of decking or is your neighbour missing a few pieces ? lol Try one of these bike jacks, bloody brilliant for £38
Unfortunately I had a small delay with yesterday's launch in the form of family visiting rites........No consideration some people...............BUT..!!!!!!!!!!!...........At 11.30am this morning , with with the oil and water topped up and the battery connected...We had power to the lights, indicators gauges and a green N light.......... Kill switch off........Clutch in........ Start button pressed we turned over with no funny sounds other than a loud ................" Oh Yes "...........From me. Result fellas....Next it's petrol in the tank........Ooooooo.... Scary..........
I like that.!!!!!!...............What an awesome piece of kit.........And just where would one aquire such an item..?...
