    hiya folks
names al and have a 2007 T100 Bonneville which i've owned for about 4 months and ridden roughly 2,000 miles don't commute on her so low mileage.
was a chojce between a sportster or a bonnie and was persuaded by a sporty owner to test ride a bonnie so .....
do get my hips seizing up old age lol am thinking of how I can put some forward pegs on her but have crashbars and mounting on them would make bike really wide so any suggestions would be helpful
    cheers al

Hi Ali-p and welcome to the forum.
I have a 2012 Bonnie with cast wheels and love it.
Best mods I have done are fitting Hagon shocks and fork progressive springs, as you I am near to 60 and found my back, neck and arms were taking a battering with the OEM suspension.
~ £220 for back & front suspension upgrade, worth every penny. Even cheaper with TEC parts.

Hey Al, mine's a 2010 SE with upgraded suspension and low Norman Hide bars, which suits my 29" inside leg. Best upgrade though was the solo gel seat. Enjoy.

    Hi Rich,
I have a 2012 cast wheel Bonnie, I have changed the suspension front and back to Hagons and it now highlights the plank of wood seat.
Where did you get the solo gel seat and how much ?

I saw it on Gumtree mate. Brand new Triumph OEM. Got it for £40 plus £18 rail fare, cuz the guy had no idea the original retail, which was £240 retail iirc.

I'm picking up a Street Twin on Saturday, and if it's a keeper the SE will go on ebay. I'll list the solo seat separately in the sales here. I'll try to get my money back on it, so probably £65 inc Collect+ postage, or pick up in Bedford. I don't have a pic with it on the bike, but will take one if it does go on sale. I've done less than 5k miles on it, cuz illness restricted riding this year.
