    Yeah i soaked the headers in clit bang limescale and shine for 5mins, clit bang contains Sulphamic acid which is commercially used as a Descaler, Cleaner and Rust Remover amongst many other things.

    I don't know mate they were on the bike when i bought it.
    Found them, there SP engineering guards, link below

    No didnt take them off, i Just grey Scotchbrite the exhaust and for the headers i socked them in clit bang limescale and shine for 5mins then grey scotched them.

    I have pretty badly hurt my back n been off work for a week now . And everytime I read Dozers reply the pain gets worse from laughing
