Just changed the feeble instument lights on my 1995 Thunerbird for these led direct replacements. http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/286-T5-LED-Dashboard-Bulbs-286LED.html Absolutely brillant in more ways than one. Just use a piece of rubber hose to slip over the original lamps and suck hard and out they pop with a wiggle or two.
If you changed the dashboard indicator bulb, where did you get a suitable relay to correct the flash rate?
Interesting that. I tried using an LED in the indicator a few years ago as the standard one (955i Tiger) is invisible in daylight, but had to abandon it as the flash rate went sky high !!
I am surprised that changing the instrument panel light for an led made any noticible difference on the bases of 10% of not a lot is not a lot. Compared to the indicator themselves the panel lamp draws very little extra current and changing to led should make very little difference. Cant say rhe same for the idicators themselves as the change in the current draw will be significant and will affect the flash rate. however, they work fine on the Thunderbird and I can see them when the sun is out.
