it might be an idea to start a thread "Who wants a calendar" and also who will buy it even if thier bike isn't picked! my daughter usually gives us a calender with the grandkids on it every xmas it looks pretty good, and i don't think they are expensive.. If this doesn't go ahead you have just given me an idea on what to buy myself for xmas though .. January......Speed Triple February.....Harley March ........Speed Triple April...........Harley and so on

A Maxi-scoot forum I was a member of did this, worked out quite well, and not too expensive, I think it was done by a printers up this way some-where. Came out about £10 then, this was about 8 yrs ago, so could be cheaper or about the same now. If I remember rightly we picked the pictures, emailed them to the printer then bought directly from him so not risk to any forum members. Probably a bit late for this year though, although some calendars, like diaries start/finish later in the year, say March 1 to Feb. 28. Guess so!! mikeng Went to the Leeds Harley open day a couple of months ago with my mate who has a Harley and we were presented with their topless ladies calendar as a freebie. Believe this or not some of the girls in the calendar were serving refreshments on the day. Quick look at the calendar, and back for another bun, must have put a stone on that afternoon. Lovely friendly people down at that branch, I've already booked for next year.
Just a thought.. depending on how many are interested you could put more than one bike on each month, possibly as many as 4? so in theory if 48 people were interested we could get everybody's bikes included. also it might be an idea to have the owners forum name or real name and model of bike on each picture
Not me fella..... I couldn't be arsed I'm sorry. I spend my working day sitting on a computer wondering what to look at next and inevitably end up sending photos of my bikes to Snapfish. You should see my bike shed.... I've photos, 18 x 12 inch posters, calendars, mugs, all sorts of random 'bike related' shite bought on a whim when I've been bored.
If there is any interest please post your photos. please include 1/2 built bikes and any Triumph stuff you think might look good.
It might be an idea for people to put there name down here if they are interested in buying the calendar (copy and paste your name on the list) I'll start the ball rolling..PS I'm not keen on organizing this either!! 1, Dougie D
I'd be up for that Jez,when you say older bikes though are you meaning pre Hinckley bikes,if not how do you determine the cut off age? i think if folk were to submit any photos it would be better if they some had some sort of scenic/interesting/funny view rather than just a picture of a bike that you would see at any dealer,also if it had the forum members name on it, it kind off personalizes it. I'm also wondering how many members on here have one offs and classic bikes?maybe there are loads and they just don't post pics on here?
after looking at the build threads Als Dominater and the Trophy would get my vote. If we just bang up photos and then let the fighting start should be a good laugh and the arguments will be good fun, cos you dont know where I live. of course mine should be July so if we start from there
