Lovely little bikers cafe called BIKERS COVE EH309TA, right on the sea front next to the Forth railway bridge, over looking the peir, this is a proper bikers cafe run by bikers, Trish has a lovely little cafe, but a web site is out of date if you expect a bikers gear shop, that unfortunately closed a while back. We went out there this morning, lovely ride through old South Queensferry, mind the cobbles if its wet though so I'm told. Look for the old AA sign sticking out on the 'dry' side of the road, it will be on your left or right depending on which way you come in from. During the summer there are lots of bike meets, organised charity do's etc, and dealers attend with stands, this time of year its a bit more quiet, but still a nice ride-out.
had a run through to Edinburgh yesterday, the new bridge looks pretty well finished, looks as if there was only one piece of road to be fitted, any idea whereabouts the bridge will join on the south side?
No idea Dougie, all the road works make it look very confusing as to where you join it on the south side, north is pretty obvious though! Was beautiful down at the cafe today, really nice weather!
Coffee only a quid too! And Sweetex too for those like me who like to keep their trim figure! Trish sorted the post code for Saltire m/c's so I could set the sat nave, trying to get a pair of bike trousers for my Mrs, need a mortgage there though!
Every time i see the heading for this thread i want to start singing..Down by the seee-yeah on a blanket with my baby is where i'll be
Hungry Highlander in Braemar is a quid for tea too ..and the road from Blairgowrie up to it is great and if you continue on up past Braemar to Ballater and beyond the roads are some of the best you will find anywhere
