I'm new to Bonnie (Mon) but last 2 bikes were Triumph Sprint ST1050 & Triumph Daytona 955i

I reluctantly traded in to act as a licence saver, but i'm sure it will grow on me. Mine is a black SE model 09 plate with 1850 miles. Hope to hear from peeps in similar situation, & others with useful comments. Will post a pic soon.

I know just what you mean. I bought a bonneville america for the same reason. I now tend to be quite happy doing 55/60 slightly faster here and there ;). My previous fazer 1000 I seemed to be doing 80+ without realising and often ++.
    Enjoy the experience.

Hi, I did the same as you nearly. I traded my Honda Blackbird in for a Thruxton 900, nowhere near as quick but in many ways it's more fun to ride. I now look for any excuse to use the new bike. Hope you enjoy the Bonnie.

I'm running on pea shooter motads, they really sound British and that's with the removable baffles still in. The mid range has had a big increase in shove and are totally road legal and no adjustments needed what so ever! Only the one picture at the mo.... image.jpeg That's it on the ramp at Motad themselves

Nice ride, I have similar 2010 SE and lovin' it. Not got around to spending big on the pipes yet (gonna debaffle mine first), but looking round there are tons of options. Whereabouts in Lancs are ya?

The option to debaffle is worth a try but i dont know anyone whos done it or heard the results to be able to make an informed choice. IF you do it please let me know & how. I live about 5 miles outside of Blackpool. Thanx Phil.
