so where do I set the idle?

 

It's pre determined as target idle in the software. To increase it you need to alter the tune.

 

So for that I'd need to plug it in is there specific software for it?

did you replace the plugs before the problems started?

 

No, but only got it fixed after playing with TuneECU.

 

I bought tune ecu and twice bought a laptop to use with it, both times I had to send laptop back ,and so never had a chance to play with it, yet.
I did think about openning a thread on tunecu, how to ,pros, and cons ,etc, (best to wait till I can join in lol)

 

Once I got it connected I just clicked on stuff and found my way round lol
