Oxford heated grips fitted

    image.jpeg Fitted today, bit of a pain if I'm honest. The throttle side has raised parts and grooves, these need to be flattened off to fit the Oxford grip, as they are quite hard not rubbery like the original.
    DO NOT put glue on grip, and then slid on, like the instructions say, mine got stuck half way and glue leaked onto throttle twist. Took ages to clean off, luckily glue didn't go off quick and managed to remove grip and have another go.
    Fit with soapy water, and lift grip edges to add glue later.
    As you can see, I fitted the control box to the tank. Think this looks better than putting it on the supplied mount....even if it's upside down. Bring on the cold weather

    Hi top-banana which Oxford grips did you fit sport or touring ones going to do same thing with mine this week

    I fitted premium sport, there is no difference apart from the grip pattern
