Thank you for that. This the sc seems affordable. However this wouldn't get rid of the cat. Or am I talking crap :-(

I will read up on it to see the reviews.

    Thanks a million

If you want to get rid of the cat you'll need new header pipes or get it taken out of the originals.
Just putting new cans on won't get rid of it.
If you want under seat with no cat then I'd but a set of header pipes from e bay and gut them(keeping the originals) then choose some cans, you may get some from e bay as well.

No gains really worth having with front pipe, rear pipes for looks and sound is a personal thing :) Ecu downloads are not that important. If you take your time i have seen arrows go for £400 second hand :)

So are you saying just a slip on would be ok. By removing the cat I guess you are not going to gain any performance for the money for a full system.

I am not top speed guy. I love the low n mid range grunt

Think the 'SC's' slip straight on to original link pipe (single comes with link pipe),not sure why you want to get rid of 'cat' (if it has one)
Personally I want to mess around with it as little as possible.
If I wanted more performance, I would have kept my ZX10.

No argument there mate. Just a slip on should do. Question is to find a reputable dyno for tuneboy to ensure the bike runs as she should

Yep slip on works just fine, i went for a single slip on and have left the baffles in with just some extra holes drilled and found this the best setup for grunt, rely smoothed it out around the mid range :)

One other thing to be wise to.
The "R" model of a certain age (2011 - 2013 not sure??) has PVM forged wheels which are recognisable by their 5 spokes rather than the multispoke wheels on other models. It is said these are lighter and make the bike more nimble so if you see a bike you like and it has these on it that would be an additional bonus.

Darkman, can you take a few more pic of you exhaust. Fancy single exhaust as it opens up the back end.

nice bike, have you changed your mind about the under seat exhausts? i thought this was the R model but he has had the sub frame powder coated red to look like the R ..That bike that roadrider put up with 2k miles on it (the one you thought had a hole in the radiator) I'm sure that's just the space at the bottom of the radiator! both look great bikes..decisions decisions! :):) don't be afraid to give them a cheeky offer..it's coming to the end of the season so bike sales will be starting to slow up

I tried my best n he wants 5800. He offered to ship the std exhaust by post at his own cost. Would you pay 5800 for this bike.

I would prefer underseat but thus shows the wheels nicely n single side swingarm can be seen.

All your thoughts are greatly appreciated
