How many members ?

I agree with the two posts above. Before I joined up, I was a lurker. I then thought that this was helpful forum so joined up. Had it been locked from the get go, I wouldn't have joined as I wouldn't know what the activity was like. It might've been very quiet. I did the same with Triumphnet too.

 

It's a bit like the magazine stand at whsmiths. Mags in placcy bags don't get bought by me.

The admin seem to be not actively involved in the forum. Conquest carbon I think are one, they've set up a Ducati one too, maybe for self promotion or maybe not. It's worked for me I like it here. I met Stevej who is an admin/staff member but he's not been on here for a year. It seems to run itself!

 

The ducati forum i think was set up first ,it looks identical to this one but they have "stickys" i think they call them, certain posts that are always on the first page,that would be good here, for example the 2017 GMU.
I was just wondering as the admin don't seem be on here much what would happen if they gave up,would the site close when renual of the hosts fee comes up,i'm imagining it's like having a web site if you don't pay the host it's closed down..Do we have a plan B???

 

I cant remember seeing any one being nasty or banned for being ott on this forum or any one coming near to it, really nice for a change, you want to see some of the greyhound racing forums I frequent to sample real bad manners, rudeness and nastyness!

 

There was one heavy poster member banned a long time ago his id ended in pjd as I remember
