Hey! My partner has a 2007 Triumph Daytona. She has been neglected for the last few months but all booked in to Triumph tomorrow for some love; service, tyre and MOT.
That was booked before we found out she won't start...

A few weeks ago someone reported the bike was "clicking" throughout the night. So we took the battery off. Battery was charged overnight, reconnected this morning and nothing. There is power from the battery as the horn, lights, fuel etc work but otherwise it seems dead. No clicking noise. We have tried connecting to the car but still no luck. When you push the button to start her up there is no reaction. Could this be an immobiliser issue at all? Or any other ideas?
We just need to get it started so we can take her in to Triumph
I am missing my summer bike rides! Please help!

Yes to all of them. Thank you for the link will show Mark. Seems very strange that it just doesn't want to do anything.

Just been looking at that. We believe it has the Datatool System 3. Sounds like when the inline fuse goes bike is immobilised. Checked the normal fuses and all ok. Would anyone know where we would locate the inline fuse?

Know this is daft but you havent pressed the engine cut out switch have you?

never had an alarm on my bikes but can you not just follow the wires from the box till you get to a fuse?

I hear that if the battery isn't in really good order it does just what you describe, your current battery may well be worth a change?
I'm also led to believe that your current battery might still work sufficiently well to function on other makes of bike, but not Triumph?
I'm certainly no authority but this is what I've been told, might be worth looking into.

Thank you everyone. Unfortunately didn't get anywhere yesterday so waiting for Triumph to get back to use about collection.
Heard the inline fuse on the Datatool S3 sometimes causes the same effect. Hopefully just that!

Thank you so much guys. She's finally been collected this afternoon. Managed to get her started after 24 hours of no alarm fuse in??

My next query if anyone can help is where can we source a rear pillion seat? eBay isn't finding anything and our local dealership has said its an obsolete product... So on a hunt for a second hand one.
