    Hi all
I have a 2001 Bonneville that is refusing to start. It's been sat since 2019 had carbs cleaned, it has spark but is refusing to run still. I have measured coil and leads and they seem to be in tolerance with the Hanyes manual. Would it be the main ignition unit that could be faulty maybe? is there anywhere these can be tested? I can't think what else could be wrong....

Well if you have a spark then it must be a fuel problem, have you tried easystart? Unlikely to be the igniter as you have a spark. No easy way to test the igniter bar putting it in a similar bike. Maybe a bit more info as to why the bikes been off the road could help.

@Gareth P Nice bike when you get it fired up. I have in the past poured a cap full of petrol down the spark plug holes and it fires the bike into life. But the carbs may have picked up some more crud. Did you flush the complete system. Let us all know how you get on.
