    Hi everybody!
Looking for a place to hold my garage door remote control after I connected it to a button on the handlebar, I found a pair of brackets a little lower than the rear brake reservoir, under the right side panel of the bike, that were empty, and used them. Now I was looking a youtube video, and saw that they are used to hold this red connector, that is missing on my bike. What is this for?

I think there may have been a red connector which was subject to a recall and replaced or eliminated. It connects the alternator to the reg/rec. I would speak to your dealer for confirmation.

Absolutely correct. I had same info on a reddit thread. Just checked recalls for my VIN, there aren't any, so I assume that they changed it already in the production line for last produced bikes
