@JackWS Yes i have been right through the bike to tackle any corrosion. Now polished so its shiny. Well would be if we were to get a glimpse of some sun.
@Sandi T Sandi Thanks. yes it is just as i say a back up or bad weather bike. So here in the UK it should get lots of use. You and Steve got any trips planned yet. Need a good read.
@Mrs Visor Thanks just wait now i will be coming to burn you off the road. Might have to put my feet down and paddle as well as go like the clappers.

Well peeps. I had the Honda out today for a lengthy run. About eighty miles. It made it there and home again quite nicely. The only problem i forgot you have to turn the petrol on and off and there i was sitting at the side of the road thinking I've been had till i looked. Gears are a little rattly but it changes and selects well so for now it's a goer.
They can't be that bad, basically yiu have half a fireblade there. I had one of em when I came back to bikes about 15 years ago now to get back into it. I christened it Arthur......
Peeps it rough in places. But it is for winter riding. Perhaps when i put the 660 back on the road i will partly restore it as a summer job.
@Sandi T Thanks and guess what the weather says Friday and Saturday may turn out reasonable weather. If so i may be out again. But probably to the same destination. Alough i don't mind it is a nice ride there round the little back bendy roads wont talk about the potholes. Let you all know if i do. Wish i was closer to you then wouldn't always end up riding on my own. Again i some times prefer it but now and then its nice to have someone with me to talk to on refreshment stops.
@joe mc donald Joe, hope the weather holds and that you can get in some more miles. I agree with you about riding buddies. Sometimes I like riding on my own but it's also really nice to have friends to ride with and talk to over breakfast or coffee.
