About a month ago I received an email about the Triumph Unleashed Winter Tour '26. Hoping there would be an event at our local dealership, I clicked. Sure enough, in Arizona there was one in Phoenix and one in Tucson! So I got Steve and me and our buddy, Russell, all signed up. I even convinced my yoga instructor, PJ, to go. PJ is new to Triumph motorcycles as he is a proud new owner of a 2023 Speed Twin 900. The Tucson event was this past Saturday from 5-7PM and it was really well organized and fun evening. They even fed us! I took a few photos to share with you all on the forum. And speaking of forum folks, I was standing next to a gentleman while doing some people watching and he asked me if my name was Sandi. Turns out he's Mark from Bisbee and is also a forum member! :)

Steve with his new Honda Grom...just kidding. ;):joy:

    Screenshot 2026-02-09 at 1.59.29 PM.png

They had the new models that came on the truck covered up for the "reveal" that happened bit by bit throughout the event.

The bike descriptions and unveilings were interspersed with some very well done videos that were shown on this TV (small though it was).:joy:

Lots of folks were very interested in this bike--the Trident 800. It's a beauty! They allowed us to sit on them (which I did) and it's very nice indeed.

Hubby Steve aboard the Bonneville T120. He said this was his favorite among the bikes that were featured. :)

    Screenshot 2026-02-09 at 2.05.17 PM.png

And this was Russell's favorite. He had a 2012 Speedmaster so has a special place in his heart for this model.

So...a special thank you to Tucson's Arizona Kawasaki--KTM--Triumph dealership for hosting a fun and informative motorcycle event! The turnout was good and it was cool to hang around a bunch of like-minded folks for a couple of hours. :grinning:

That looks pretty good to me @Sandi T and well done for recruiting PJ!! Great to meet Mark too...it's a small world etc etc!!

I do like the glossy paint on the Trident 800. Did you see anything that tickled your fancy - although I can't imagine Speedy going anywhere?

It was definitely a very nice turnout, @Mrs Visor! I forgot to mention that there were a lot of local sponsors, as well. That was really nice to see. It seems like there are fewer and fewer local motorcycle events these days so I'm glad to see some things starting to happen.

Honestly, I liked nearly all the bikes...but nothing (as you accurately assessed!) tickled my fancy as much as my Speed Triple RS. Now if they brought back the Thruxton 1200, someone might be able to twist my arm. ;):) I did sit on the Thruxton 400 which was one of the unveiled bikes. It was very cool but felt ever so tiny. Plus the ergonomics would kill my wrists and hands.:dizzy: I think it's designed for someone much younger than me.:joy: I would really like to test ride the Trident 800 and that Speedmaster that Russell was eyeballing.

Here are photos of three more bikes that were unveiled. The first bike that was unveiled was the new Tiger 1200 with all the latest bells and whistles which I didn't get a picture of for some reason or other.

Many thanks for the great photos!:kissing_heart:
On March the 7th + 8th our dealer will have an "open house" event. There we will at least sit on some of the new Triumphs.;)

@Sandi Y Thanks for the pictures. I do love that 800 Trident and you are tempting me with that picture. But all great thanks for taking the time to show us the bikes. Steve has a great smile there you think he is eying up that bike for himself.

Is that the "Desert edition"? Our dealer had that on display here a few weeks ago - AFAICT nothing new about it except for the colo(u)r scheme - I'll stick with my '24 explorer until the unveiling of the '27 next year thanks very much...

I DO like the Trident 800 though - very pretty and capable looking!

Hey, Joe. It's in my DNA to get folks interested in buying bikes . I just can't help myself! Sometimes I call it "spending OPM"....Other People's Money. ;):joy: But really, I just love the excitement that people feel when they buy a new or new-to-them motorcycle.

I'd say you might be right about Steve eyeing up that Bonnie. However, he just bought himself a 2025 Road King Special last week! It sort of surprised all of us. (We like to take bets in our riding group for who will buy a new bike next.) He traded his Road Glide so now he has a new Harley touring bike but one without a fairing. He is smart enough to buy an aftermarket windshield for those summertime trips, though!

Yes, the Trident 800 is beautiful. That red paint is what I call "juicy". Reviews seem to be pretty decent, too. The price is certainly right.

The dealership had a Desert 900 Edition on the showroom floor. The 2026 Tiger that was featured at the event was the Alpine 1200 Edition. I don't know much about the whole ADV segment and honestly didn't pay much attention when that bike was unveiled. I was eating my free event meal. ;):joy: So you're the pro on that Triumph line. BTW, you stumped me. What's AFAICT stand for?? o_O

Yup, that Carnival Red is beautiful. Love it on my Tiger.

As far as I can tell... :joy:

I think we all like having our fancy tickled Sandi, especially the 2 wheeled fancy. There are many things that initiate the purchase of a new machine and the degree of tickle is probably the most important. :grinning: Nothing wrong with a bit of window shopping either!

Is that a glint in Steve’s eye sat on that new Bonnie.:p

A good time had by all. Difficult to fault the T120, on my 2nd, storm grey / baha orange.

Thanks, @Vulpes. I'm about acronym-ed out (no) thanks to my job where whole sentences and paragraphs could be nothing but acronyms. But, hey, my LAST DAY IS MAY 22nd! Can you tell I'm excited?? :grinning::grinning::grinning:

Here it is, @Helmut Visor, Steve's 2025 Road King Special. All blacked out, just like he likes it. :joy:

Interestingly, H-D doesn't have a Road King in their 2026 lineup--the first year of the Road King was 1994. So he may have bought the last of the Road Kings...or perhaps Harley will come out with another version of it down the road so to speak. He previously had a 2023 Road King Classic and I had a 2024 Road King CVO. When we traded those Road Kings in for new touring bikes, we both got bikes with fairings. Steve is pretty happy so far to not have a fairing anymore although he add on a windshield when we do our trips.

That bell behind Steve came over from Old Pueblo H-D, a smaller Tucson dealership that was closed and subsumed by Tucson H-D recently. The tradition is that when a customer buys a new (or new-to-them) bike, they ring the bell and everyone claps and hoots 'n hollers and honks motorcycle horns all over the showroom floor. And we all take a few photos, too, of course. That big bell behind Steve is WAY better than the bell that was previously used at Tucson Harley.

BTW, this photo of my Street Glide and me was taken on Valentine's Day 2024. So as of this coming Saturday I'll have had this bike exactly two years! Right now it's over at the dealership for my 20K service.

Yep, @Pegscraper, I have to agree with you that "the degree of tickle (especially the 2 wheeled fancy) is probably the most important"! And I loooooove to window shop...motorcycles especially. It used to be for dressy heels and going-out-to-dinner clothes but that all changed when I started riding. ;) Motorcycles make even the most expensive shoes seem cheap! And they certainly aren't as fun as motorcycles. :grinning:

As much as that probably is a bit of a glint in Steve's eye, we have no room at the inn for the time being. One of us--or both of us--would need to sell or trade a bike to have anyplace at all to put a new Bonnie. Well, unless we parked it in the kitchen or living room.:joy:

Kitchen or living room sound like good options! And when you have finished work there will be less paperwork etc lying around, so even more room :grinning:
Congratulations on setting a date for finishing work. A wonderful experience I can tell you :kissing_heart:
