My first time on any forum and my first post so excuse any newby errors. I found the forum really helpful so wanted to hopefully help a few others with my experiences so far. I ordered a new Speed R Matt Graphite...first new bike ever as always bought 2nd hand. Had an 07 Speed and loved it and Sprint ST 1050 previous to that. New order took 6 weeks for delivery and got final ride on my trusty "old" Speed to TT....great way to say goodbye. Ordered Arrow low boy as was (wrongly) told by sales guy that the baffle was removable as with my old Arrows. Thanks to previous posts on this Forum I saw how it was possible to remove baffle so after several chats the dealership agreed to remove the baffle for free. I also had a quick shifter fitted....I paid for labour. My argument was that it was in the manual on p70 that quick shifter was a standard fit so it was their mistake and up to them to put right. Also had Evotech tail tidy and rad +oil guards fitted. I now have the perfect looking and sounding bike. Not too loud for any of you that haven't removed baffle. Quick shifter loads of fun. Slipper clutch, RBW throttle, etc etc are huge improvements from my old Speed. Stay safe.

Great stuff! Welcome...!! Pictures of new toy a necessity on any forum ;) ... Quickshifter is fun , but I was used to one from my previous 899 Panigale so was a must for me. Also, you may want to consider changing those big bar end mirrors to the smaller ones. I have them and they actaully work and look miles better.

Thanks for the tip and will see about the small bar end mirrors. I had them on my previous Speed but just getting used to the large ones! Getting older:(
