What a beauty - always liked the original Fireblade and a cracking colour. Hope that woman’s being carful with her heals near the tank.
This took me right back to the nineteen sixties, it seems so long ago now. I genuinely believe these were the golden years for a lifestyle that we just do not have today. For me, it is not seeing things through rose-tinted glasses, it is a true reality of what freedom we enjoyed, yes as bikers, we faced some prejudices and injustice, but that was more to do with opposition to change. I regard myself as a true Rocker, yes it was in part about rebelling against society, but having that freedom to more or less do what we enjoyed. I can vividly recall the excitement of meeting your girlfriend (often against the parents wishes), and riding off with like minded friends, visiting cafes, listening to the juke box (no Spotify back then). Those long lingering kisses before your girlfriend had to go back home. Possibly more to follow. Ride safe from an ageing Rocker.
