Worth a watch if you're considering either one, especially as the 660 has some decent upgrades on last years model
@TRIPLE X Not this time mate. But been looking at some Honda cb500's early ones as i don't like that fairing on the later. But one bike that raises my yearning is a BSA Firebird Scrambler 71 model but he is looking top price. I had one in the seventies and it near bankrupted me. Watch this space. But i do like the cbs.
TS660 and TS800 are great bikes. 800 might be the best middleweight tourer available at its price point.
I think @Wessa had the 660 and changed to the 800, so might provide an interesting insight from an owners point of view.
@Sandi T Told you if you sell that Mustang how many more bikes could you get. Only in jest. I see them and can't resist. But like has been said here we aren't here for ever so happiness is key. Me i worked I'm either happy or completely nuts. Take your pick I'll most likely agree.
You're right about if I sell the Mustang, @joe mc donald. I'd have more money to buy more bikes. But even more importantly, I'd have four more open slots in the garage to fill! And my Speed Triple RS could resume his rightful place back in the garage, indoors where he belongs. But, that said.....I'm NOT selling my Mustang!
Yes I did have the TS660 and whilst it was a competent bike I personally felt it was under powered against most of my previous bikes. I upgraded it to the Tiger 900 GT Pro which is a much better option and bike in my opinion. I’m interested in how the 900 compares to the TS800, but I’m not considering changing at this time.
