It's a repro but, once painted and colour matched I'm pretty sure that nobody will ever be able to tell the difference. https://www.triumphparts.co.uk/prod...arts/triumph-all-parts-stocked/triumph-seats/
It's worth waiting for - pay a deposit if you can! The original has long since been discontinued from the factory and is now the proverbial rocking horse poo, so your only chance of getting an original is via ebay; gumtree; bacefook and/or a gigantic stroke of good fortune! The Sprint Mfg. ones are very good and always seem in demand. Although the bum pad is a smooth finish you could always cover it with vinyl leathercloth to look more like the original. You'll also need the sleeve screws for mounting the cowl.
Found a genuine Daytona cover .... though the bumpad doesn't look, to me, to be the original. Pricey but it's the real thing so yer pays yer money .... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/15744798...IQzdymheXbq9Nt+nQwv+ipBg==|tkp:Bk9SR6DPzaDOZg
Ta DAAAAAAAA!!!! found (And purchased!) a rear seat cowl (in the correct colour) this German firm seem to specialise in breaking Triumphs, worth a look https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/motorize-gebrauchtteile Much thanks to Adie P for the steer to this site!
You're very welcome. T300s are my faves so getting and keeping them on the road is always a pleasure! Let's see some pictures when the cowl's on and the bike's complete!
