My MV Brutale has only done 2700 miles, but its a 2011 model, so the original tyres are 14 years old and hard as rock, I'm treating it to a pair of Pirelli Super corsas and whilst I'm at it I thought I'd get a new pair of boots for my Street Triple too. That's put a dent in my monthly pension money. Lol

Maybe but money well spent. Now all you need is a few dry days to bed them in. :grinning:

As a Yorkshireman, any financial outlay requires considerable justification but when it’s something bike related I find it nowhere near as painful as, say, home improvements or flippin’ decorating!

No bedding in til next Spring now, the MV is sorned and whilst the Triumph is still road legal, the existing tyres will suffice 'til that bike starts its winter slumber, then I'll take the opportunity to change its boots.

I love new tyres, I really look forward to getting them . (But not the cost....).

Probably because they're known as boots, Mrs V :grinning:

Love your comparison to home improvements or flippin' decorating, @Pegscraper. I detest our kitchen countertops and have for a decade. But when I look at them and cringe I think to myself, "Hmmm, new kitchen countertops or a motorcycle trip?" Hmmm, new kitchen countertops or a scuba trip?" No contest! Those countertops will be in our house until I croak. :joy::joy::joy:
