Hi Wessa I managed to get this from a tool seller at the auto jumble section of a bike show, there will probably be some at the Stafford show this weekend but this looks to be the same on good old fleabay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/23599255...TM7GyzvRvczF73iv4kWKDL14wQ==|tkp:BFBM9Irejblm
Like the Frank Thomas, but not in green. I have a matt black HD open face, covered the HD with Triumph decals, looks ok. Fancy the Shoei J cruise in white, megabucks new, bide my time. Who is organising The DGR ? Used to be Woods.
Not sure on the organisers yet but there is sure to be a dealer not to far away that will be running an event
I swore I'd never wear a flip front modular helmet and now I own two and that's pretty much all I wear. I have two regular full-face helmets, a Bell and an Arai, and I find that I never seem to reach for those when heading out for a ride. For me the modulars are easier to put on and take off, and it's nice to be able to flip up the chin bar if I need to briefly speak to someone or just need a bit more air at a stoplight. My flip fronts are both Shoei Neotec 2's--one is black and the other white. I bought both on sale when the Neotec 3 came out. Oh, I also love the drop down visor in the Neotec 2. It's a godsend in our blazingly bright sun here in Arizona.
Not particularly bike related, unless you own a Harley, just bought one of these for working on the SUV. https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/clarke-ctj2gls-2-tonne-long-reach-trolley-jack/
So do what I do, and the same with any chain adjustments etc. Set it up to the correct level/setting, using x2 people if need be, whilst it is stood on the level workshop floor. Once satisfied, then place the bike on a paddock stand. Now repeat the same checks and note the difference. For example, my 765 oil level when correct, reads around 1/3 rd of the window covered on a paddock stand when the actual level is near maximum (tilted forward so reading lower). The bike lives permanently in the workshop on a rear paddock stand, so a quick look around, oil, coolant and chain check, takes seconds.
Bought this today, well went halfers with my brother in law. https://www.xlmoto.co.uk/product/proworks-road-tyre-machine_pid-PM-0080979 hopefully it works like in the video. Any recommendations on lube for fitting tyres.
I have similar although a bit taller, great device and breaks beads with ease I spoke to my mot tester about buying some lube off him He said don't waste your money on anything fancy, get some old or cheap bars of soap. Run these across the wife's cheese grater, when she's not looking obviously , then put it in a tub with a lid and some water. I did the above quite a few years ago, periodically adding water to maintain foam, and it doesn't look much less than what I made initially despite doing a fair few tyres. A little goes a long way
UPDATE. Got it home yesterday, Quick run to A&D today to meet mates, and its in a disgusting state. Dirty muddy lake on access road to A&D. Keep me out of mischief for a while.
Just bought this from the Sportsbike shop. Really well made. £37.99 They had Santa on the counter too.
