What a great day out, @Mrs Visor! Love all the great photos. BTW, I also love avocado toast. ;) There will be a photo of mine from a couple of days ago when I post a thread about our two-nighter to the town of Prescott, Arizona. If you like that sort of thing... :joy:

Rode it! 80 miles round trip through a rural farmland. Trees are blazing with autumn color! Great ride.

Picked up a few groceries and tanked up! :)

Was out today until 4ish but it never brightened up from the fog/mist I woke up to. Still good to get some miles in

Well started to clean up the Thunderbird it's funny people say I've washed it for you and then you take panels off and they stay on when you've taken all the bolts out because there is so much grease and crud sticking them to the frame it is very satisfying though to see you have made a difference although I lost an hour or so looking for a bolt I swore landed on the floor but just when I was going to give up I saw it perched on the wishbone just in front of the shock but all back together for now I think I have got to replace the rear brake master cylinder as the pedal goes down with no resistance at all and the brake light is staying on it had been stood since 2017 though so I've got to expect some parts are going to need replacing or at least striped down cleaned and new seals or the likes, but looking forward to getting into it to ride it out in the spring fingers crossed :yum

Rode it! A quick 30 minute spin to enjoy the lovely 74F day with filtered sunlight.

Feeling more confident in traffic and at busy intersections. Launching the bike from a stop more smoothly and confidently.

Hoping for a couple of hours in the saddle tomorrow afternoon. Grateful to be able to enjoy this machine.

Have you ever rode the bike without the luggage on it will feel like a completely different bike I find my Tiger 900 a bit top heavy with the top box on

I have not done that, will give it a try. I store and lock my helmet in the top case so its utility is made evident on a regular basis! :)

Yes I can appreciate that but unless you are leaving the bike out of site and unattended so as you don't want to be carrying a helmet around it's understandable but if it is just a coffee break take a leaf from @Mrs Visor 's book and keep it in view and include it in your pictures I'll only use mine if I'm going away to use as part of my luggage you will feel the difference give it a try and it'll save you a bit of fuel as well ;)

Despite my recommendations to try the bike without the luggage it still is a tidy bike with it on and does suit the bike and doesn't look to cumbersome I was going to go for the 800 sport fully loaded but my issue is I wouldn't hit the first service or post run in service within a year going on my historical riding habits so I went for a low mileage second hand Tiger 900 with the extras that someone else Paid for but since owning the Tiger I've had my enthusiasm to get out improved 100% almost like when I started to ride back in the early 80's when my knees could take the punishment so could of gone for that lovely cosmic yellow bike but I am happy with the 900 does what I want with all day comfort it's now never me who signals for a break when out in a group it also helps I don't need to stop for a smoke break anymore.Anyway enjoy that bike and get out in any configuration

Rode it! A short trip of local errands.

Inflated tires to 34psi front / 42psi rear (they were both ~7psi low).

Adjusted the bottom of the clutch cable.

    Cleaned the chain w/WD40.

Lubed the chain w/Dupont Chain Saver.

Cleaned the inside of the top case with a wet nap/handy wipe type of cleaning wipe.

Went out for a “test ride” on the Scrambler today, the test being to see if a MIL light fault from yesterday repeated itself. The light came on while sat around 65-70 on a dual carriageway, no symptoms at all, power loss, hesitation or misfiring etc. I pulled up and switched off/restarted the engine and the light stayed on so I continued my journey, around 40m, again with absolutely no symptoms at all.
Back home I plugged in Dealertool which threw up P230 code, “Fuel relay fault”? and deleted the code, putting the light out. I did the same run today and “give it some” but no MIL light and again, the bike ran faultlessly.
    Hmmmm, strange.

Could be just one of those things a slight surge in charge or drop off a sensor jolt on a pothole might never happen again if after the fault was cleared it stayed off that usually a good sign anything serious it would come on and stay on
