Help! T120 2025 Tank Off.

Tank off now.

Eventually found the socket to the power unit up in the cockpit.
Been able to get the blue tape off, but how the heck does one get the bit out as I can hardly get one finger on it.
I can see that the wire has been folded but don’t seen to be able to pull it out.

Help.

Sure, will do as soon as enough daylight in the garage.

 

Need to get. An insulated hook to pull it out.
The wire to the plug was folded up and had blue insulated tape round it.
How one can get it out on the T120 2025 model with the tank on is beyond me!

 

The easiest way to get it out is to remove the fixing screw. Then one has plenty of room.

No chance, promised a delivery today with an emailed time slot.

No notification email of intended delivery.
The weather here is bright sunshine, could be out for a lovely ride on my new T120.

Glad that it worked out for you & that you didn’t need to remove the tank.
I had to go down from the top (by the main spar) with a screwdriver to break/remove the blue insulation tape, also I had to remove the Torx bolt to gain extra clearance by pulling aside the cable/pipe clamp so that the socket could easily slide out.
So, with my bike, I don’t think that it would have been possible without the tank off. IMHO.
However I am also in the process of fitting extra lamps so the cables would have to be clipped up to the main spar under the tank. Hence the tank had to come off.
Knowing what I have learned now it is only a few mins to remove the tank completely. Mind I did run the fuel level right down to less than 20miles range.

Yodel tried (?) and failed to deliver again.
Checked with Yodel, they have our correct address and postcode!
Mind we have only lived at this address for over 41yrs at our farm. Even gave my mobile number and a What Three Words code yesterday! They promised that the driver would call if he could not locate our farm haha!
Oh well will start the non delivery complaint again am tomorrow.

it’s arrived. 3rd time lucky!
The normal Yodel driver had a few days off. However this doesn’t excuse the replacement one trying to deliver 2miles away. No wonder he could not find our farm!
