Unbeknown to me, my niece took pics of my Bonnie, she already had pics of my dogs. My birthday present yesterday, she had printed this Tshirt for me. The colour of the Bonnie, and likeness In the dogs is amazing.
By the way 21 again...I wish. X3+10 is nearer the mark.
    UPDATE
It is with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes that i type this edit. Billy, the deerhound sitting on the bike,
had a seizure last Saturday, 27th, followed by 3 more overnight. After 12 years, 12 days, we had to
say goodbye. It was the hardest thing i/we have ever had to go thro.
Now, we have to think of the good times, and the times he made us laugh, and concentrate on
    Lenny and Lucy. RIP Billy.

That’d make a great print to hang on the garage/man cave/lounge wall! :grinning:

So sorry Tony I lost my best mate last September she also had a seizure that she never came out of and we had to say goodbye to her it's such a loss our children have grown up moved on with their lives and so the dogs become our main priority it's only a feeling dog owners experience my thoughts are with you

Thanks Mark, as you say, its a feeling that only dog owners experience....it hurts. Just had a call to say Billy.s ashes are
ready for collection. We are going to buy a small tree or shrub and put his ashes under it. It all happened so quick.
2PM Saturday, first seizure. 9AM Sunday gone. Tony

God bless Billy, he is running free now. No words can express how you are feeling right now but you gave him a loving home and a great life, as all us dog lovers do. Take comfort in that.

Both of ours went within months of each other we had them cremated and we have little caskets for them with brass plates on i don't want to bury them as my Mrs gets itchy feet and when we have finished renovating she decides it's time to move and i wouldn't want to leave them behind we said we won't bother again but I must admit I keep getting notifications from free ads telling me of newly listed and we are truly tempted

Difficult decision, do we get another dog??? Been looking at other sighthounds for 12 years, every time Carol says no. So its not going to happen. We still have Lenny and Lucy, Lenny not good, but he is happy.
Jumped on the Tiger this morning, went to the Vets in Ellesmere Port to collect Billy,s ashes, bit emotional.
Carol did not tell me she had asked for a casket. Its lovely, polished bamboo with metal name plate, and quite heavy.
So we have decided not to bury it, its on show in the tv unit for now. We will decide what to do when Lenny and Lucy
    cross the bridge.

Why Ellesmere port ours were done in brynford animal cemetery our vet organised it all we just had to go and collect them lovely place and people are so professional and friendly confirmed my concern about shared cremation but was assured that they go in on their own even the vet did their paw print on a card and the pet cemetery put a lock of hair in a key ring but it still is a hard decision to get another dog and have to go through it all again

We are with Animal Trust in Rhyl. The E.Port branch is 24/7, used them when we were in Chester.
It was Sunday 9AM when we took Billy in, could,nt wait any longer, he would have had more seizures.
Not nice to see. Vets sorted everything, no complaints , whatsoever.

What breed were they? We are into sight hounds, Billy was deerhound/collie, Lenny lurcher, ex hunter,
so we had our problems with him over the years....cost me a fortune. He,s a Mummy,s boy.
And then theres Lucy, a large whippet....and getting larger, our fault. Love em to bits. T.

You'll laugh here but I've had German shepherds, a Doberman a Belgian shepherd a staffy corgis and a pair of westies but these two were Shih Tzu 's and I wouldn't have any other breed if I was to get another dog it would definitely be another one mine the black and white one could sit like a meerkat all day long she would follow me everywhere you could see the love in her eyes and so intelligent she knew so many key words and playful she would run around all day and loved her squeaky toys when we first got her we stood in the breeders kitchen and the whole litter was running around but we just watched and she came to us knew then it was her she chose us

Not laughing Mark, think its great that the dog picked you. They develop there own characters.
My three were/are chalk and cheese. Billy was my first dog, so very special.
