That is just like........ my first scooter!

 

At first, I thought Margaret Hamilton, from the "Wizard of Oz," traded her broom in for a Harley.

In my book that just makes her handier!

 

Well you ride a real bike now suppose someone has to buy them

 

Extra points for the Triumph

 

1969, and the only way was Mod, but it didn't last long.

 

Have to disagree there was plenty of British marques available in the 60's

 

What I meant was in my crowd at school Mod was the way to go...... i did change it eventually for a Royal Enfield 250, then a Triumph 500..... although they were both nothing but trouble!!

Met my own babe on the Triumph though!!

 

On the bright side British bikes are a lot more dependable than they were back then but you still see scooters on the side of the road with the side panels off it's not just the odd one either when they go on these mass rallies you'll see them in little groups all working on the scooters they just were never designed to do big mileage
