Just wanted to introduce myself! I've LONG wanted for a Speed Triple and for my Bday last week I got a 2007 1050 in black and gold that I'm super excited about adding to my collection! I have several other bikes, but this is my very first Triumph! Looking forward to learning and contributing! I am a certified motorcycle instructor in basic rider course, intermediate, advanced, adventure bike, and 3-wheel! I love all types of riding, including roadcoarse woods, and cross-country sport touring! I also own a small motorcycle, welding and light fabrication shop.
@DGMCustoms89 Welcome to the family. Great picture thanks for sharing it. It is a real nice bike. Now you will get addicted to Trumpets. Do please let us all know your thoughts.
Hello and good luck from New Zealand DGM, if you enjoy the '07 like I enjoy the '09 well ...'nuff said !
That's quite the stable! My first bike was a 2003 Speed Triple that my son now has. Nice ride, but not very comfy for my passenger (wife). Moved on to a Sprint GT 1050, and then a Trophy SE 1215. I got onto my old Speedy and it felt like a bicycle! Maybe a smaller bike is in the cards someday!! Love the look of the twin headlights, too!
G'day mate from all Downunder, just sold a 2010 speed triple and wished I hadn't, they are brilliant bikes. mini.
Only charging through lines of traffic ? The bastard thing turns me into a 17 year old ( with very sweaty armpits !) The only things I could say against it ...... thinks ? ... hmmmm ? ... the previous owner replaced the 'uh oh' headlights with the later 'angry' ones... but I have the originals, so, one day, maybe ? Enjoy, mate .. go, stop, handling, what more is there ? A better seat for mummy-bear, apparently ? Nah .. that's what the Bonnie's for !!! Luck to yer !
