Hi bikerman lovely bike I'm just recommissioning the one I've just got could I ask you are the mirrors on your bike original because I have a pair of grotty looking round ones on mine so I've just bought a pair the same shape as yours as I like original or as near as budget allowed or are you aware of factory options at the time so no actual standard mirror can be agreed upon
They are original mirrors, the old ones had been on there for 29 years and we're looking the worse for ware, also when you went anything over 60 mph they would flop down. So I bit the bullet and got a new pair for £153. I can highly recommend Andy ( in parts ) at Triumph in Lincoln, anything I've ever needed, hes bent over backwards to get it for me if he can. Thanks for the information I don't know about the thread because it will be quite a long drawn out process because I want to get my firestorm ready for the spring as well but anything I may find that would be of interest along the way I will certainly post for all to see
