i forgot i cannot post images here.

in the first photo, whats the big aluminum thing under the tank just in front of the cylinder head? i cant make it out. im guessing an oil tank.

re the second bike, the featherbed double. a friend of mine built a similar preunit double LSR machine, using a harley transmission with an electric start. it went 142 mph on its test runs, then inverted a crank seal and was parked. it never went out again and now is a display piece at a biker bar in new york state.
